Virgin Earth, the second of my Stuart novels, has been released in Italian to follow on from Il Giardiniere del Re – the Italian title's Il Giardino del Nuovo Mondo. It was one of my favourite books to write, with a wonderful research trip to Jamestown. I wanted to capture the Native American way of life, and was honoured to receive an invitation into a private home. Describing the forests of the New World, and the closeness to nature of being in a land not stamped with the impact of humanity, was a great pleasure.
