I see some of you are fans of Anne Boleyn, but my favourite- as portrayed by PG, is Anne of Cleves. She kept her head and her independence (well, for that time in history for a woman, anyway).
Of course, we are talking henry viii's wives!! |

Hi!
i get where you are commig from but then why not have Kathrine Parr as your favorite then? As she also kept her head and seems much more intresting as she re-married after Henrys death.
'Me Myself and I' am a total Anne bolyen fan!!!!!
I think that people like Anne as there is so much mystery around her e.g. 'Was she a witch?' 'Did she have a affir making Elizabeth not henry's daughter'
Looking forward to your reply

Katherine of Aragon and Anne of Cleves for me. I do like Cat Howard too, though. _________________ "Life would be so wonderful if we only knew what to do with it." Greta Garbo

Anne Boleyn is and will always be my favourite. After her, Katharine of Aragon. ( This is a bit difficult..) _________________ Natalie xoxo

I am going to say Katherine Howard and Jane Seymour. Maybe because I can personally relate to traits in both of their personalities (from what I have read).
Geeze, what does that say about me? |

I would have to say Anne Boleyn. She has always been an extremely fascinating person to me. There is this whole air of mystery and scandal around her even today. I never tire of reading about her - she was a truly interesting woman! _________________ "Happiness does not depend on outward things, but on the way we see them." - Leo Tolstoy

I find it's difficult as we really only see them thruogh the eyes of men. Was Anne Boleyn as bad as they say or did people vilify her because they found her threatening?
In the 20th century a man would have an affair and be a 'larrikin' (Aussie slang for 'rascal'); a woman would have an affair and be a slut.
I think all his wives were hampered by by men's desire to be in control. |

Anne Boleyn.
Not because I think she was necessarily the nicest or most admirable, but because she was, by far, the most interesting, even before Henry went all ragey and head-choppy on her. _________________ "I heard say the executioner was very good, and I have a little neck." ~ Anne Boleyn |

1. Catherine Parr.-She cared about all Henry's kids and restored the positions of Mary and Elizabeth. I suppose she married Henry not because of being queen of England, but because she felt sorry for him.
2. Jane Seimour- She wasn't evil to Elizabeth ( well not so evil ike Ann was to Mary), even thougt she was Ann's child. I thing she was nice and carying. I like her, even thought I don't know why. And about that dance, when Ann died, I can say only that Anne also danced when she heard the news about Catherine's death. It was tradicion maybe
3. Anne if Cleves- Oh, how can I forget her. She survived from Henry. And gave such nice horses to king and Catherine I betcha the other woman would protest, and loose her head
4.Catherine Howrd- I don't know why. I like her the best and I would put her first, but I desided to judge them for deads (oh no, I ment deeds), not for personality. Still...I love Cathie. She's sweet shild ( Especialy after TBI and "TUdors"")
5.Anne Boleyn- I know that she was the most inmortant of Henry's wives, but still.......
6.Catherine of Aragon - Came on. She had soooo much relatives in Spain, and still couldn't force Henry to stay with her? _________________ I couldn't bear to see Charlotte maried that awful man, so I imagined a diffrent end.

| Anne of Cleves for having a strong sense of self-preservation. Or maybe she was just very meek?? Either way, she came out on top. She would be perfect if not for the Catholicism. |

I don't see Anne of Cleves converting to a Catholic as being a character flaw |
